The essential to remember
The Canon Pixma TS8251 multifunction printer is identical to the Pixma TS8250 tested on dev.rankuzz.com. It is distinguished only by its white color. . We therefore find with pleasure a well finished printer and compact closed shutters. The Pixma TS8251 uses a 4.3 ”diagonal (10.8 cm) touch screen.
The Pixma TS8251 has very good print quality, but unfortunately you have to be patient to enjoy it. Indeed, its print speeds are relatively low with 14 pages per minute (ppm) in color and only 6 ppm in black and white, the fault in the drying time that it regularly imposes between two pages. In automatic duplex mode, it prints only 4 ppm in monochrome. In addition, this print quality is quite expensive with a cost per page of almost 14 euro cents (€ 0.14) in color and 4 euro cents (€ 0.04) in monochrome.
Conclusion
The Pixma TS8251 incorporates the qualities of the Pixma TS8250 that we tested. We therefore appreciate its ergonomics and its print quality, but a little less its print speeds and its cost per page.
