Disneyland Paris - Marne-La-Vallée (France)
The Disneyland Paris park is located in the town of Marne-la-Vallée, about 20 km from Paris. It is, as the name suggests, a theme park dedicated to Disney stories and characters, whose magic envelops the visitor as soon as they cross the entrance door. Opened on April 12, 1992, it occupies an area of 550,000 m2 and is the largest of the Walt Disney parks. It has more than 50 attractions -for all ages-, divided into five thematic areas. Walt Disney studios - Marne-La-Valleé (France)
Walt Disney Studios is also a theme park of the Walt Disney Company, located in the Disneyland Paris complex. It is also in Marne-La-Vallée, and was inaugurated on March 16, 2002. It is an imitation of film studio, with the approximate dimensions of one of these. It has 4 "production" areas, and also attractions, restaurants, and shops. In this park the latest productions of the company prevail, and especially those made by Pixar Studios.
Europa Park - Germany
Located in the heart of Europe, between the Black Forest and Los Vosgos, Europa Park is one of the most beautiful theme parks. Opened in 1975, despite being located in Germany, it has a family clientele (about 4 million visitors each year), who come from both Germany and the nearest countries: France (1 million) and Switzerland. The theme is European countries, and thus it is divided into 13 parts: one per country and three specific: The Universe of Adventure, the universe of children (Kinderland) and the Enchanted Forest with its universe of stories (in 2014 it has added an area on the theme of Arthur and the Minimoys). It has numerous attractions, and all kinds of services.
Efteling - Netherlands
Opened on May 31, 1952, it was originally a park dedicated to fairy tales. However, it has become a large amusement park like Disneyland. The Efteling universe is an endless wonder. You can live the most beautiful family adventures there. Plan the enchanting world of the scenic 'Droomvlucht' tour and live the exciting outdoor show of Raveleijn! Tivoli Gardens - Denmark
Tivoli Gardens They are one of the biggest attractions in the current center of Copenhagen in Denmark. PortAventura - Spain
PortAventura is a theme park located south of Barcelona, between Vila-seca and Salou (Tarragona, Spain). It is composed of 39 attractions spread over 119 hectares and distributed in six thematic areas. It has a hotel complex (PortAventura Resort), with 4 hotels and a camping area. It also has a water park: Costa Caribe Aquatic Park, as well as golf grounds. Opened in 1995, PortAventura became the largest in Spain and also in southern Europe. It is divided into various "worlds" or thematic spaces: the Mediterranean, Polynesia, Sesame Adventure, China, Mexico and Far West. Attractions, services and a wide range of shows are proposed.
Liseberg - Sweden
Located in the Swedish city of Göteborg, Liseberg is an amusement park created in 1923. It is the largest in Scandinavia, and receives approximately 3 million people a year. Its star attraction is Balder, a set of wooden roller coasters. In 2005, the park was designated by the well-known Forbes magazine as one of the world's top 10 amusement parks. Despite the weather of the place, the park also opens in November and December, although not all its attractions work. In Sweden, its Christmas market is a classic. Alton Towers - United Kingdom
Alton Towers is a theme park located in Staffordshire, in the United Kingdom. It is built on the site of an old fortified house. It is the largest theme park in the world in terms of area, with its 202 hectares. It has a great reputation among lovers of amusement parks and strong feelings. It has 8 roller coasters and a very diversified range of attractions (dark rides, water attractions, roundabouts, etc ...) It is divided into thematic areas with diverse attractions. Three of these areas are linked by a cable car that allows rapid movement through the park.
Legoland Windsor - United Kingdom
Legoland Windsor is a Legoland amusement park, located in Berkshire, in England. It is the second park of the Legoland franchise. It opened in 1996 in the former Windsor Safari Park, after 4 years of work. In its first season it already attracted more than 1.4 million visitors, and in November 1999 it opened for the first time in winter session. It is a park divided into 10 thematic areas.
