Conclusion
The Panasonic TX-49EX600 - 49 inch version of the TX-55EX600 we tested - is a good TV in a lighted room, but it is not suitable for cinema lovers in the dark. It delivers a quality image, well calibrated, but its limited contrast simply prevents enjoying a film in good conditions. It could also have made a very good TV for video games, but its long afterglow is also a handicap. It cannot therefore claim to exceed the rating of 3 stars.
