We visit the largest statues and monuments in the world. We measure the heights of the highest monuments and make this curious ranking that will surely interest you.
TOP 1:
Buddha Temple in China - 128 meters
Built between 1997 and 2008, it is located in Zhaocun, a small town in the Chinese province of Henan. This Buddha is almost three times larger than the Statue of Liberty.
TOP 2:
Laykyun Setkyar of Burma - 116 meters
This statue took 11 years to complete, and can be found in the village of Khatakan Taung near Monywa, Myanmar.

Ushiku Daibutsu of Japan - 110 meters
Built in honor of Amitabha Buddha. It is made of bronze and an observation floor is accessed through an internal elevator.

Guan Yin of the South Sea of Sanya of China - 108 meters
