Animal sculptures made of scrap metal
Edouard Martinet, is a talented artist born in Le Mains, France in 1963. He studied art at ESAC, Paris and graduated in 1988. Edouard has the talent to transform everyday objects found in flea markets and sales of Starter cars, in true works of art. Working with a wide variety of waste materials, such as: cooking pots, rusty keys, typewriters, car lights and other metals with which he sculpts various types of animals and insects. His sculptures are made without the use of welding. Edouard manages to fit each component into place, as if assembling the pieces of a random puzzle. Each sculpture requires a lot of time, but the result makes the work worthwhile.
